33 1/3 RPM's is a compilation of 10 punk rock bands, each being represented by 3 songs each for a total of 30 tracks. Most compilations are usually a sampler of a certain record label or a quick way to make a buck with the ever popular "rare" or "unreleased" tracks. There once was a time when compilations were a great way to hear new and exciting music. Well we took a stab at it and this is what we came up with. 10 great bands with their own distinctions: TEXAS THIEVES, THE GEE STRINGS, THE PILLZ, IN THE RED, CELL BLOCK 5, SPOILED ROTTEN, THE NIPPLES, THE RATTLESNAKES, TRY FAILING & NEON MANIACS.

"The idea is simple: Take 10 punk bands, give 'em three songs apiece and let 'em rip. The surprising this about this comp is the variety within the punk genre. From the female fronted Gee Strings who are a high-speed garage punk band, to the Texas Thieves who bust out skate punk anthems, to the Rattlesnakes who are influenced by Rocket From the Crypt, this comp touches on the aggressive aspects of punk without the pop. This comp is a snag for punk fans who like it a little rough around the edges and who want to hear some bands they might have never heard about otherwise."
