BIO:
If you are not familiar with THE NIPPLES and their brash
yet very realistic and down to earth approach you are
truly missing out on one of America's last true Punk
Rock gems. Think along the lines of THE ADICTS, STALAG
13, RAMONES, DESCENDENTS and SCREECHING WEASEL. THE
NIPPLES have managed to cram together 4 tracks on one
side of this 7". That alone should give you some insight
to their world. The first track "I Hate Being First"
is a sample track from their first full length release
"Filthy Lyrics, Happy Kids". The second track, is the
very controversial song "Time To Assassinate Fat Mike".
Thirdly, "Dreadful Hour" is an unrleased song recorded
live during the Filthy Lyrics sessions. And last but
of certainly not least is the follow up to the smash
single Attack of the Garbage Pail Kids...... "Return
of the Garbage Pail Kids" (featuring the Happy Kids
Choir).

"WEEKEND
TOYS" -
When you listen to The Nipples' Weekend Toys, its hard
to believe that a bunch of guys approaching their thirties
wrote such a meaningless and adolescent album. You would
think that by this age they would have a little but
more to say, but they don't. and you know, that's what
makes this disc so much fun to listen to. Songs about
chicks in no underwear, old skool toys and video games
mixed in with a bit of angst are more fun than you can
shake a stick at. For the kids out there have a good
time getting in touch with your inner anger, while the
rest of us who are fighting off old age with a stick
its nice to know that angst never dies and punk rock
will live forever. - ECTO-MAG
"This is absolutely fucking
awesome and I don't throw that word around. I'm not
one of these people that rates average shit as awesome...it's
got to grab me by the throat and get inside me and THE
NIPPLES do just that. Fantastic old school hardcore
punk with the sickest vocals.no shouting, no growling
just a killer high-pitced voice that's got so much balls.the
vocals actually remind me of early AFI when Davey Havok's
voice was great mixed with a young and hardcore Mike
D, a young a nasal GG Allin and Tom from MINOR DISTRURBANCE
and all with the stabbines of Jesse Luscsious.the vocals
are what tip this band over the edge for me. Don't think
for a second that the music is in any way boring, it's
just that topped with the vocals the whole thing is
elevated enormously. I love it when a vocalist doesn't
have to put on some gravelly 'punk' voice or hardcore
yell or whatever and still sound tough and urgent. There
is a touch of early AFI musically too in here with lots
of speeding up and slowing down but not in lame way.
The songs are super short and there's 22 of the fuckers
on here.and all in 25 minutes.I think these guys recorded
my dream record, this is the shit and again, I don't
fuck around- THIS IS AWESOME." - NO

"There are times when insincerity
is appropriate in music and then there are times when
it's less than desirable. In the case of THE NIPPLES,
not only is it appropriate but it is done in a convincing
fashion. Not like bands who are too tongue and cheek
for their own good but more genuine in a comedic fashion.
THE NIPPLES "Weekend Toys" effort is a scathing, super
face paced punk rock thrashing in the vein of the revered
old school style. The combination of the vocal delivery
and the cadence molded together well and brought to
mind THE TEEN IDLES from the good old days of D.C. punk/hardcore
scene. Higher pitched wails keep in time with tightly
woven guitar licks and a relentless rhythm section.
Be prepared and aware though, this short but blistering
fast ride ends quicker than a cup of coffee in the morning.
They ripped through 22 short but explosive songs while
poking fun at various 80's themed items as well as some
poignant social commentary all through a jumpy and goof-like
vibe. Although they didn't quite destroy any molds within
the punk rock world, they did display a voracious hunger
for delivering punk rock the way it was originally designed
to be spit out." - EAST COAST

7" W/ BULLET TREATMENT 7" - "BULLET
TREATMENT and THE NIPPLES are the kind of bands that
get labelled as being of the rare, true punk rock breed;
bands that are 25 times "punker than you", etc. I'm
not going to argue with that fact. these guys could
no doubt out shout, out drink, out piss me, and thats
just fine. Because the world needs bands like this:
fast, angry, unpleasant bands who don't give a shit
who they offend and why. It's a raw punk racket inspired
by the ever-restless spirits of MINOR THREAT, 7 SECONDS
al., and you'll have a fairly certain idea by now whether
it's going to be up your street or not, which makes
my job a little easier. BULLET TREATMENT come across
as the slightly wiser older brother, but no less aggressive
in their approach. these guys are the original punk
oddballs, with a makeshift line-up that is forever changing
- they've gone through so many members (including 6
singers) it leaves even the band confused these days.
Their first contribution easily steals the show, a suprisingly
melodic and substantial effort in a driving, BAD RELIGION
way. A decent DESCENDENTS cover follows (the band itself
started out as a covers band), before a very raw (and
brief) live recording." - KILLTHENOISE.NET
